Egg Roll in a Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb turkey sausage or sausage of choice
  • 1 Package shredded cabbage or slaw
  • 1/4 cup green onions chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. coconut aminos
  • 1/2 Tbsp. ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp. garlic minced
  • 1/2 Tbsp. red pepper flakes

Sriracha Mayo Drizzle

  • 2 Tbsp sriracha
  • 1/2 Cup mayo (any kind)

Instructions

  • Cook sausage on stove top breaking it up into pieces with your spachula while it cooks.
  • While that is cooking in a seperate pan cook your cabbage or slaw mix with green onions and add in garlic, ginger, coconut aminos, and red pepper flakes.
  • Once sausage is fully cooked combine it wiht the cabbage and spice mixture and let it cook together on low heat.
  • During this time you can cook your rice according to the package. I use microwaveable jasamine rice packets from Trader Joe's and they take 3 minutes in the microwave.
  • Combine Sriracha and mayo in small dish and stir together.
  • Add rice and egg roll mixture to a bowl and top with Sriracha mayo.
