- At this point, you can set aside the broccoli if you prefer it to be more firm, but if not, keep it in the pan.
- Add the ground beef or turkey to the pan and break it into small pieces as it cooks.
- Once the meat is fully cooked, move it to one side of the pan to create space for the orzo.
- Add the orzo to the empty space in the pan and let it cook for a little while to toast the orzo, stirring occasionally.
- Pour in the broth, lemon pepper seasoning, minced garlic, and the juice from 1 lemon. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the broth is absorbed by the orzo, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

- 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/8 cup butter

- Add broccoli to a large sauce pan over medium heat with 1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
- Stir and cook until broccoli becomes a bright green color
- You can set aside broccoli if you want to more firm at this time but I left my broccoli in the pan
- Add in ground beef and break into small pieces as it cooks
- Once cooked fully, move to one side of the pan to leave space for orzo
- Add in orzo and let cook for a little to toast the orzo
- Add in broth, lemon pepper, juice from 1 lemon
- Let simmer for 10 minutes until broth is absorbed by orzo
- Add in parm cheese, unsweetened almond milk, and butter
- Mix together
