Chicken Shawarma Bowl

Ingredients

Bowl Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Cooked Jasmine Rice
  • 1 Cup Mixed Green
  • 1 tbsp Hummus
  • 1/4 Cup Pickled Onions
  • 1/2 Cup Sliced English Cucumbers
  • 1 tbsp Herbed Tahini (from Trader Joe's)
  • 3 Slices Grilled Halloumi (from Trader Joe's)

Chicken + Seasoning

  • 1 Chicken Thigh
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Combine seasonings and coat chicken thigh evenly
  • Cook seasoned chicken in oven for 25 minutes
  • While chicken is cooking gather your other ingredients
  • Layer them in a bowl with mixed greens on the bottom
  • Top with cooked jasmine rice (microwave packets are the easiest), pickled onions, halloumi cheese, and cucumbers
  • When Chicken is cooked add it to top of bowl and add herbed tahini and hummus on top
  • Enjoy!
