Italian Turkey Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp basil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup almond flour

Instructions

  • Mix ingredients together and form into balls.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in medium frying pan.
  • Place meatballs in frying pan and cook for 5 minutes, turning often to brown all sides.
  • Add 1/4 cup of water to the pan and cover with lid. This allows the meatballs to cook more throughout.
  • Cook for three minutes with the lid on.
  • Take out and enjoy on top of your favorite pasta or in a meatball sub! I used chickpea pasta  and marinara.
