This is the perfect recipe for a cold winter day that will be ready by the time you get home from work!
You can make it in a crockpot or stovetop if the chicken is previously cooked and shredded.
Crockpot Tortilla Soup
Servings 5
Ingredients
- 2 Large Chicken Breasts
- 1 Can Fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 2 Cans Green Chilis
- 4 Cups Chicken Broth
- 1 Can Corn drained and rinsed
- 1 Can Black beans drained and rinsed
- 1/4 Block Cream Cheese
- 1 Packet Taco Seasoning
- 1 Bell Pepper chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 Yellow Onion Diced
Instructions
- -Add all ingredients above to a crockpot and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours
- -Remove chicken and shred after cooked, add back to soup and serve
- -Top with sour cream, plain Greek yogurt, cheese, and tortilla chips
